In 2026, Washington, DC will host a full year of events in honor of America’s 250th birthday and the Giant National Capital BBQ Battle serves up one of the country’s tastiest celebrations.Proclaimed the Official National BBQ Championship on the floor of Congress, the festival unites barbecue lovers from across the nation with great food, live music and family fun. As part of the DC250 celebration, the BBQ Battle will showcase barbecue’s place in America’s story and bring visitors from around the world together for a shared taste of tradition.
