Live! At the Library: The Power of Make Believe with Mac Barnett

Bestselling author and 2025–2026 National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature Mac Barnett will champion the power and joy of imagination, discovery and storytelling. Barnett will discuss his new book "Make Believe: On Telling Stories to Children" with NPR’s Jenn White, share insights from his research journey, and make the case for children’s literature as a worthy and essential art form. There will be a book signing following this event.
