“A General’s Prayer”

Live Onstage

Jun 12, 2026 - Jul 19, 2026. 11:00 a.m., 2:30 p.m.

In the bitter winter of the American Revolution, General George Washington faces the weight of an impossible task: holding together a fragile army, an uncertain cause, and a nation not yet born.

A General’s Prayer is a stirring one-man play that invites audiences into Washington’s private world—his doubts, his resolve, and his quiet dependence on God. Through moments of reflection, memory, and prayer, we encounter not the legend, but the man: a leader shaped as much by faith as by strategy.

Set against the stark beauty of a winter encampment, this intimate theatrical experience reveals the spiritual foundation that sustained Washington in the darkest hours—and challenges us to consider the source of true courage in our own lives.
